About Us ...

Second Nature was founded by Martin and Karen Green in Tavistock, on the edge of Dartmoor. Our aim is to offer an extensive and diverse range of organic, natural and re-cycled products. We wanted to make organic and natural products available for everyone.

We love our range and have used all the products ourselves prior to stocking, we really wanted to offer products that were so good you’d buy them even if you were unaware of the other benefits.

We've listed a few of the guidelines that we like to work within.

• Source our range as locally as possible
• Our products must be either organic, natural, re-cycled or recyclable and;
• Made to the highest possible quality
• Our stationary must be sourced entirely from 100% post consumer waste
• Our electricity to be sourced from re-newable sources
• Our packaging has to be recycled or recyclable and we re-use to minimise wastage
• To increase our knowledge and others
• To do something, however small
• Accept that we are not perfect, but we can change
• If in doubt, walk the dog. It's a good time to think!

We've been buying organic products for over 12 years. We started buying organic when Karen was expecting Tom (now 12) and like most parents wanted to give him the best possible start to life we could. We're convinced of the benefits with 2 handsome fit healthy boys to be very proud of.

Tom and Matt now tell us what we should be recycling, eating, the impact on the environment man is making and what everyone should be doing to help reverse the process!

Our aim is to offer you our customer, as wide a choice as possible of clothing, bed linen, towels, skincare and cleaning products free from chemicals, additives and preservatives.

We are passionate about making organic and natural products available to everyone.

We're always adding to our range, in addition to the items on our website we also stock Tamar Organic Seeds and Rocket Garden, instant kitchen Gardens. We have Seasalt organic clothes, Dr Hauschka natural skincare and cosmetics. We also have Montezumas Organic chocolate, possibly the best we've ever tasted. A big bonus is, it's made in West Sussex!
